 If you have not started to collect your coupons you really should start! There are so many ways to save money on essential items that you use every day! Why would you spend $4 on a box of cereal when you could get the same kind for less than $1? How about shampoo and condtioner both for less than $2 or even sometimes free? With this economy we all should be finding ways to save money! I love saving money now! I get a thrill everytime a new coupon or sale comes out! I spend about 30 minutes a day surfing the other couponing blogs and sales ads. You would not believe how many "freebies" there are out there! Many of you ask me how I do it and I have noted pretty much all of my secrets on here, but until you put in an effort of your own you will not get the savings you want! So with that being said start with looking at a couple of the blog sites that I have listed here and the check out the printable coupon sites for yourself!

COUPON SITES

I had my weekly trip to Publix yesterday and I must say I think I did pretty well! I spent a little more than usual but my stockpile in my cabinets had gotten a little low. Besides there were some great deals that were just to good to pass up! So What all did I buy and how much did I save and spend? Take a peek and I'll tell you what I bought!

GET YOUR PAPERS!!!! Two inserts this week and I have a feeling there will be a big sale soon!!!! I have some $5.00/1 Lysol Notouch soap dispensers coupons that I will be giving away on friday! I went a little over budget this week but had some left from last week!


  First let's start with Walgreen's! This is going to seem a little crazy but, I had tons of Q's and I couldn't pass up the deals! Walgreen's gives Register Rewards when you buy certain products then you use that to pay for your next purchase and you can "roll" the rewards from one product to the next! I had a blast over the last 2 days making deals and stocking up on Razors and toothbrushes! Overall I think I scored 15 toothbrushes, 3 cans of shaving cream (only one pictured), 3 Snuggle and 5 packs of razors. I did this using Register Rewards and separate transactions! Total out of pocket for all transactions was less than $20.00!!!! See pics!

Well this week has been an awesome week for me shopping wise! I got some great deals! I'm not sure if any one reads this or not but I enjoy writing about what I bought and saved because it helps me stay accountable to the budget that I set for myself. I have gotten down to about $50 a week or less that I spend at the store and I tell you that my cabinets are more stocked than ever!
 I have never been one that loved or even liked to shop but learning how to coupon has been an awesome thing for me! Some of you may or may not know my background but I have been a mother since I was 15 years old and been married since I was 19. I had to grow up taking care of my children and learn how to be an adult at the same time. It was not an easy thing to do and I was never taught how to manage money! My husband and I did ok because he was in charge of the finances, but he was laid off 2 years ago and has not been able to find decent work since and I was laid off in Feb. My daughter will graduate high school next year and I find myself not sleeping because I am worried about how we are going to pay the bills, feed the kids and afford everything that she will need for school. So this brings me back to couponing! I can now buy things we need and "stockpile" so that we don't run out and put up anything that is not spent for the week that is under my $50 budget. I know that I am writing a book here but I just thought i would give you a sense of how I feel when I save money and get above and beyond what we need! I can fully pay for her class ring with what I have saved from couponing!
